What was the highlight of ComVida Quiaios Hotel
Decent value for money
Friendly staff, good and quiet location, decent breakfast, not very far from the beach front.
The en-suite bathroom was not the best. The curtains around the shower did not serve their purpose very effectively and, as a result, water often flooded the area around the shower. As the bathroom had no windows or a good ventilation system, it had this unpleasant and constant smell of damp.

What was the highlight of ComVida Quiaios Hotel
Soulless, quiet, underserved hotel.
It was very quiet. There are lots of seating areas both inside and outside for common use. They have a rooftop terrace. There was a minigolf that could be used free of charge. There was a gym and a small games area with table soccer.
The receptionist only spoke Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. Her English was non-existent. She was not often at her desk because she also had to clean rooms and do laundry and there didn't seem to be a way to call her. There was no information at all on things to do in the area. Outside of the beach there didn't seem to be anything to do in the area. It was unclear to me if there were walking/mountainbike possibilities in the nearby forest. We were unable to find a decent restaurant and there is nothing in the hotel, they only serve breakfast. They claim to have a bar but it is in fact a room with seating and a coffee machine where you have to pay for the coffee in a plastic cup. The hotel was very 'neat' to the point of feeling soulless. For instance in the common room there were no couches, only single armchairs all placed neatly in a row. Given the lack of amenities in the area it would be logical to have at least a shop where you can get some drinks/snacks but there isn't.

Great area close to the beach. Very quiet area. Adequate facilities but nothing fancy. Clean and staff are very welcoming. Would definitely return if I was in the area.
Our toilet was rather small so everything got wet but it was clean and adequate for one nights stay

Clearly the people in the reception desk were nice but not...
Clearly the people in the reception desk were nice but not informed about the correct procedures in this situation. Overall they tried to help, considering what they knew
There were issues with payment and I was kept at the reception for more than 1h30m to fix it when the problem was between the facilities and booking. I had already paid for the room and they were saying that I needed to pay again because they hadn't receive the money. I showed the confirmation email saying that it was proof of payment and they were still saying that I had to pay because "maybe the money didn't leave the account and the email is a mistake"
